Artwork Guide

At Echo of Days, every piece of ceramic artwork is hand-painted based on your photos and personalization requests. This guide explains how we interpret your memories and what you can expect from the final result.

What We Create

We transform meaningful moments into ceramic artwork, including:

  • wedding photos
  • birthday portraits
  • pet illustrations
  • family moments
  • special memories and personal scenes

Artistic Interpretation

Our work is not a direct photo print.
Each piece is a hand-painted interpretation, not a mechanical reproduction.

We carefully simplify and refine details to make them suitable for ceramic surfaces, while preserving the emotion, expression, and atmosphere of your original photo.

Level of Detail

We focus on emotional accuracy rather than exact photographic replication.

This means:

  • facial expressions are preserved
  • key features are highlighted
  • backgrounds may be simplified
  • small details may be adjusted for clarity

Photo Requirements

For the best results, we recommend providing:

  • high-resolution images
  • clear lighting (natural light preferred)
  • visible subject details
  • well-composed framing

For pets or group photos, clearer separation between subjects will help improve the final artwork.

Color & Style Adjustment

Colors may be adjusted during the painting process to ensure:

  • better compatibility with ceramic materials
  • stability after kiln firing
  • balanced visual presentation on curved surfaces

We aim for a natural, soft, and timeless aesthetic.

Preview Process

In most cases, a design preview will be provided before production.

You may request minor adjustments before final approval. Once confirmed, the artwork will proceed to hand-painting and kiln firing.

Handmade Variations

Because each piece is hand-painted and kiln-fired, slight variations may occur in:

  • brushwork
  • color tone
  • texture
  • fine details

These variations are a natural part of the handmade process and make every piece unique.

Our Promise

We do not aim to create exact copies.
We aim to preserve meaningful memories in a way that feels emotional, personal, and lasting.
